Josaphine

about this beer

Josaphine is our Connecticut Wild Ale with Montmorency Cherries harvested from Belltown Hill Orchards in Glastonbury. This beer started out as a blend of our barrel fermented wild ales and was further refermented on seven pounds of tart cherries for two months.

This beer reminds us of biting into a cherry pie. Its nose is dominated by rich aromas of cinnamon, graham cracker, and spice. Follow that nose with a savory burst of ripe cherries and pie crust as you drink it. Josaphine is the perfect beer for sharing on crisp Autumn nights.

Inspired by somewhere in New Hampshire and lost jackets.
